Why the Owners Support Group Was Formed

Many owners also advised that their younger family members were unwilling to take over ownership.

These concerns became very apparent to me at the 2024 AGM and were consistently reinforced through discussions on the owners Facebook page and direct feedback from owners. As a result, a small group of owners came together to establish a group that could listen to owners, represent their concerns, and work towards practical solutions.

The Owners Support Group does not seek to pressure owners into predetermined outcomes.

Our role is to give owners a voice, share information, and encourage respectful and constructive discussion about the future of the resort.

Support for the group continues to grow, particularly following the recent AGM, after which many owners contacted us expressing concern about the tone and conduct of parts of the meeting.

Owners were also concerned by how readily a single ownership entity used their large voting block to significantly influence, and potentially destabilise, the governance of the resort.
