What is Timeshare Ownership?
Owning a timeshare means holding the title to your own holiday home—but only for specific weeks each year. You can own one week or several, and you receive a formal title deed for every week you purchase.
How It Works at the Ridge Resort
- Shared costs: You pay an annual maintenance levy covering management, upkeep, and services—which is determined by the body corporate committee each year, and is a fixed amount for all weeks, regardless of occupancy. Currently this is $1660 per annum for each week you own; much cheaper than equivalent holiday accommodation in Queenstown.
- Hassle-free holidays: Your villa is fully managed and serviced weekly (Friday 9:30 am–4:00 pm), ready for you at 4:00 pm Friday, departing next Friday by 9:30 am.
- Flexible use: You decide who stays—your family, friends, or yourself. All units sleep up to 8 people.
- Earning potential: Rent out your week when you are unable to use it. Or bank it to use next year or in exchange for another timeshare resort elsewhere in New Zealand or overseas.
- Global travel options: Swap your week internationally through exchange services like Interval International, RCI or 7Across, unlocking vacations all over the world.
