Strategic Review Working Group

The restructure group has held one meeting since the AGM. At that meeting we discussed the transition from a sub-committee tasked with writing a report for the 2026 AGM to a new group working on the proposed restructure. We have presented the meeting summary to the body corporate committee (read here). The new name of the group will be: Strategic Review Working Group

As Resolution 16 was not passed, no Body Corporate funding has been allocated in the 2027 budget for the professional services needed to progress this work. As a result, the group will need to seek financial support directly from owners to meet these costs.

Although this changes the funding model, it also creates an opportunity for the group to engage directly with owners throughout the process. Progress, expenditure, and outcomes will be reported openly to all owners, rather than the work being funded through the Body Corporate budget and overseen primarily through the Committee.

Invitation to contribute

The Sub-Committee would welcome hearing from anyone interested in contributing to this work, either as a member or as an adviser. Any assistance, expertise, or input would be greatly appreciated.
