Restructure phases

What can be expected to happen if the motions are passed?

The Sub Committee proposes to:

Phase One

  • Clarify legal position on proposed restructuring and associated process
  • Consult non-timeshare (private) owners
  • Consult Classic Holidays Ltd (Resort Management company)
  • Consult major Timeshare Weeks holders (including Classic Clubs and Timeshare Brokers)
  • Meet with Queenstown property leaders to assist assess layouts and potential returns.
  • Investigate subdivision options based on the above.
  • Obtain quotes for Phase II external needs
  • Complete and present Phase I Report by December 2026

Phase two

  • Seek surveying and planning input to carry out the recommended subdivision, including an assessment of related costs.
  • Obtain valuation advice on how to fairly allocate costs and benefits among ownership groups.
  • Consult legal experts about the process of cancelling the current Unit Plan, completing the chosen subdivision, setting up new structures, and addressing any implications or potential costs.
  • Provide further guidance as needed.
  • Present a report to owners before the 2027 AGM outlining possible options for the future.
