Restructure

What would a restructure aim to do?

A future proposal would aim to:

 Let non-timeshare (private) owners retain and control their properties

 Allow timeshare owners to exit at a fair value if they wish

 Enable continued use for those who want to stay

 Maintain the position of Future Development Unit owners

The goal is simple: fairness and flexibility for all owners.

Why is this complicated?

The Ridge is a unique setup:

 Over 1,000 ownership interests

 A mix of timeshare and non-timeshare (private) ownership

 Multiple ownership types and arrangements

Because of this:

 Major changes require very high levels of agreement

 Legal and practical steps are complex

 Any solution must work for a wide range of owners

What happens next?

The Committee is being asked to:

• Stop further work on a full sale. This option is not considered realistic.

• Investigate a restructure in detail. Including owner consultation and professional advice.

• Fund this next stage via the 2027 Budget

What does this mean for you?

 No decisions have been made

 This is just the first step

 Owners will be consulted before any proposal is finalised

 Any major change would require owner approval

In summary

A full sale is unlikely — a restructure is worth exploring —and owners will help shape what comes next.
